Those who say that the holidays are over evidently do not know the calendar. But don't worry, at B&B La Corte you don't run the risk of missing any special event.
Do you know the Spring Festival? No? What if we told you Chinese New Year? Here, now we understand each other better. In China, the New Year is celebrated a little later than our calendar because the lunar cycles follow. This year will fall on January 25th and brings with it the sign of the Mouse (in China there is a horoscope different from ours, which is based on the year of birth, not on the month), a symbol of kindness, cunning and ability to overcome difficulties.
In Naples, the partnership with China has been growing stronger for years. It is of ancient origin, dates back to 1732 when the priest Matteo Ripa founded the College of Chinese, in what is now the Rione Sanità. The College was the first European school of Chinese studies and still survives in what has become the University of Naples "L’Orientale", a university where languages ??and cultures from all over the world are studied.
Not only history, however, to unite our countries there are schools, associations, art exhibitions, concerts, theatrical performances and events, such as New Year's Eve. This year in Naples there will be two special moments: on the eve of Piazza del Gesù, on January 24 at 4:50 pm, for the countdown live with China and artistic performances by the Ciao Cina Association. From 17:00 it will also be possible to enter the MANN for free, just in honor of the party.
On January 25, the Confucius Institute of the University of Naples "L’Orientale" awaits you in Piazza del Plebiscito from 11:00 onwards with traditional dances, art and lots of fun.

Happy New Year to the Mouse!
